Welcome to the Loyalist Golf Academy

Our philosophy at the Loyalist Golf Academy is that anyone can learn the basic fundamentals of the game of golf. We are dedicated to improving your skill and enjoyment of the game. We offer comprehensive player development programs for golfers of every skill level. To ensure each individual’s needs are met, we offer a wide variety of coaching programs including private, group, golf schools, corporate outings, junior programs and the popular “Golf for Ladies Who Don’t Golf” series.

Led by John Boyle, Director of Golf Instruction, the Loyalist Golf Academy’s CPGA staff has over 30 years of teaching experience. Combine this experience with a true passion for the game of golf and you will find your learning experience with us very satisfying. Whether you are a seasoned player or thinking of picking up the game for the first time, the Loyalist Golf Academy will take your game to the next level.

Golf School Details

Our golf schools run from May to September. The structure of the program is such that you will have plenty of personal golf instruction, plus ample time to practice and play golf. A nice component of the golf school is that all students have unlimited access to Loyalist Championship Golf Course and all its practice facilities. Each golf school is designed to maximize practice and game situations. This is made possible with our beautifully re-designed practice facility, complete with target greens, fairways, and short game area. BOOK EARLY TO GET THE BEST DATES!


What’s Included?

 The Golf School includes:

  • 2 days of instruction and golf
  • Unlimited practice facility privileges
  • Group instruction by Canadian PGA golf professionals
  • Golf lessons will cover a range of topics, including proper set-up fundamentals, irons, woods, putting, chipping and sand play, as well as pre-shot routine and the mental aspect of the game (each session has specific topics)
  • All golf students will receive a 10% discount on non-sale items in the Pro Shop
  • Lunch each day (at either the snack bar or clubhouse)
  • Complementary coffee and muffins each morning
  • Welcome Gift

Class Times

9:00am – 12:00pm — Instruction & Practice
Break for Lunch
Afternoon Tee Times

Please arrive at the golf course at least 15 minutes prior to start.

Cost

$150.00 per session + GST


Clinics

Golf Clinic

 The Golf Clinic includes:

  • 4 1-hour sessions of golf instruction in a group setting (maximum 8 people in a group)
  • Clinics run on Mondays (April 25, May 2, 9 and 16) and on Thursday’s starting (April 28, May 5, 12 and 19)
  • Sessions run from 5:30pm to 6:30pm on the day of your choice (availability limited)

Rates

$100.00 per person + HST, maximum group of 8.


Specialty Schools

This golf program is designed to target specific aspects of your golf game. Improve your overall game by participating in one of our short-game schools, or perhaps a playing school under the supervision of our professional staff.

One Day Playing Schools

 This learning experience combines golf instruction and playing under the supervision of our professional golf staff. So get some friends together and spend an enjoyable day at the golf course.

This package includes:

  • 3 hours of group golf instruction covering set-up, irons, woods and short-game techniques
  • Lunch
  • Green fee and practice balls
  • 9 Hole playing lesson with our professional golf staff
  • Tee Gift

This golf school can be scheduled to accommodate your group’s needs and size, preferably in groups of 3 or 6.

Rates:

3 People: $250.00 per person + GST

6 People: $180.00 per person + GST

Corporate VIP Golf Experience Package

 Here is a great opportunity to get together with some clients, business partners or perhaps an incentive for a few of your top employees. Treat them to an enjoyable day of golf and some world class golf instruction at one of the finest golf courses and golf facilities in Eastern Ontario.

We also offer hourly, half day and full day golf clinics designed to suit your personal needs.

This full day VIP package includes:

  • Welcome Gift
  • 2 hours of instruction covering the fundamentals of set-up, short game and full swing
  • 9 hole playing lesson with one of our professionals
  • Lunch
  • Practice balls
  • 18 holes of golf with Power Cart
