Loyalist Golf and Country Club is currently accepting applications for the following positions:

Foreman

Description
Will be involved in all aspects of course maintenance.
Work directly with and supervise staff.
Maintenance, repair, and working knowledge of a Toro site pro irrigation system.
Pest control product application.
Fertility.
Course set-up and tournament preparation.
Work closely with the superintendent regarding course needs, property,facilities and leadership.
Ability to perform landscape construction and horticultural practices.
Able to operate various types of tractors, and landscape equipment.

Qualifications
Understands agronomy and the rules of golf.
Relative education and work experience.
Irrigation system programming and repair.
Landscape exterminators license or the ability to obtain one.
Chainsaw license and CPR/first aid certificate an asset.
IPM accreditation an asset.
Experience with Audubon programs and certification.
Computer experience. [word and excel].
Valid drivers license.
WHMIS and OHS certified
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

This is a seasonal position, approximately 40 weeks in duration. Loyalist is an up-scale semi – private golf facility with an adjoining housing component. The development is located 20 minutes west of Kingston in the village of Bath on Lake Ontario.
